## What it does

The plugin ships 21 rule files into Claude: models, controllers, requests, resources, actions, DTOs, filters, enums, repositories, events, authorization, testing, database transactions, DDD structure and anti-patterns. Alongside them are 8 guided workflows — build a full CRUD endpoint step by step, add filtering to an existing model, run a defense-oriented code review, debug issues with data before code, test endpoints with curl and cross-reference against the DB, and keep a per-project knowledge base.

Both standard Laravel structure and Domain-Driven Design are supported. Install runs in one command: `php artisan api-skill:install`. The package is MIT licensed.

The rules encode the patterns of essa/api-tool-kit specifically. On a project built on something else, the generated controllers and resources will need rewriting by hand — worth checking your stack before you install.
