## What it does

LaraClaude installs into Claude and registers skills under the `/lc:` prefix. They cover four areas: database and migrations, models and queries, security and performance, Livewire and Blade. Some of them reason about the running app instead of only grepping files.

\`/lc:consolidate-migrations` groups migration files by table, tracks foreign key dependencies, labels each one SAFE, CAUTION or DO NOT MERGE, and folds ADD COLUMN statements back into the original CREATE. `/lc:find-n-plus-one` looks for relationship access inside `@foreach` blocks without eager loading and names the `with()` call you need. `/lc:boost-inspect` runs through the Laravel Boost MCP server to read the real schema, row counts and recent errors; when Boost is absent it drops back to Docker and tinker.

Several skills can edit your code. `/lc:security-audit`, `/lc:spatie-permissions-audit`, `/lc:slow-queries` and `/lc:cache-opportunities` accept a `fix` flag that asks for confirmation, plus `fix --dry-run` to preview changes first. The permissions audit is worth running on any spatie/laravel-permission setup: it flags permission names checked in code but never defined, and those typos fail silently at runtime. Installing through the marketplace means `/plugin marketplace update` keeps the plugin current.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Plugin marketplace**
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community
```
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin install laraclaude@claude-community
```

## When to use it
- merge hundreds of small migrations into clean files without losing data migrations
- spot N+1 queries in Blade views and Livewire components
- catch spatie permissions used in code but never defined
- clean up SQL injection, XSS and mass assignment issues
- compare the live database schema against the migration files

## Example prompts
- Run `/lc:consolidate-migrations analyze` and show me the report
- Scan `resources/views/` for N+1 problems with `/lc:find-n-plus-one`
- Run `/lc:security-audit fix --dry-run` over `app/Http/Controllers/`

# LaraClaude

A comprehensive Laravel toolkit plugin for [Claude Code](https://claude.ai/code). 31 specialized skills to analyze, debug, scaffold, and optimize Laravel applications directly from your terminal.

## Installation

Requires [Claude Code](https://claude.ai/code) installed.

**Recommended (marketplace):** add the marketplace once, then install. You get version tracking and automatic updates with `/plugin marketplace update`.

```bash
/plugin marketplace add edulazaro/laraclaude
/plugin install laraclaude@edulazaro
```

**Quick install (direct from GitHub):**

```bash
/plugin install github:edulazaro/laraclaude
```

## Skills

### Database & Migrations

#### `/lc:consolidate-migrations`
Analyze and consolidate fragmented migration files. When your project accumulates hundreds of small migrations (add column, modify column, rename...), this skill merges them into clean, optimized files.

```
/lc:consolidate-migrations analyze        # Show consolidation report
/lc:consolidate-migrations properties     # Consolidate a specific table
/lc:consolidate-migrations all            # Consolidate all safe tables
```

**What it does:**
- Groups migrations by table
- Detects foreign key dependencies
- Classifies each as SAFE / CAUTION / DO NOT MERGE
- Merges ADD COLUMN into original CREATE
- Preserves data migrations
- Validates syntax after consolidation

#### `/lc:check-foreign-keys`
Detect broken, orphaned, or missing foreign key constraints across your migrations and models.

```
/lc:check-foreign-keys                    # Check all tables
/lc:check-foreign-keys properties         # Check specific table
```

**Detects:**
- FK in migration but no relationship in model
- Relationship in model but no FK in migration
- FK referencing non-existent tables or columns
- Risky `onDelete` actions

#### `/lc:migration-fresh-test`
Run `migrate:fresh` in your Docker container and get detailed error analysis with fix suggestions.

```
/lc:migration-fresh-test                  # Run migrate:fresh
/lc:migration-fresh-test --seed           # With seeders
```

---

### Models & Queries

#### `/lc:analyze-model`
Deep analysis of any Eloquent model: relationships, scopes, casts, fillable, observers, keepers, actions, and potential issues.

```
/lc:analyze-model Property                # Analyze specific model
/lc:analyze-model                         # List all models
```

**Shows:**
- All relationships with types and related models
- Scopes, accessors, mutators
- Casts, fillable, guarded
- Observers, Larakeep keepers, Laractions actions
- Potential issues (missing fillable, N+1 risks)

#### `/lc:find-n-plus-one`
Detect N+1 query problems in Blade views, Livewire components, and controllers.

```
/lc:find-n-plus-one                       # Scan entire project
/lc:find-n-plus-one resources/views/      # Scan specific directory
```

**Detects:**
- `$model->relationship` inside `@foreach` without eager loading
- Missing `with()` in Livewire computed properties
- Suggests the exact `with()` statement needed

#### `/lc:orphaned-records`
Find database records where the parent (foreign key) no longer exists.

```
/lc:orphaned-records                      # Check all tables
/lc:orphaned-records operations           # Check specific table
```

#### `/lc:unused-columns`
Detect database columns that are never referenced anywhere in the codebase.

```
/lc:unused-columns                        # Check all tables
/lc:unused-columns properties             # Check specific table
```

#### `/lc:boost-inspect`
Runtime-verified inspection using the [Laravel Boost](https://laravel.com/docs/13.x/boost) MCP server. Instead of static grep, it reasons about the *live* app: real schema, real row counts, loaded models, and recent errors. Falls back to Docker + tinker if Boost is not installed.

```
/lc:boost-inspect                         # Full runtime report
/lc:boost-inspect models                  # Verify model relationships at runtime
/lc:boost-inspect schema                  # Diff live schema vs migrations
