It captures architectural choices, discarded alternatives, workarounds, incident lessons, and operational constraints. The records are plain Markdown under `context/`, committed with the project so the reasoning follows its Git history. The plugin works through the agent’s normal development conversation. Decisions and trade-offs from a task can become context for later sessions, giving another agent more than the code alone reveals. On an existing repository, history, issues, and implementation details recover only part of the reasoning, so a maintainer must supply the rest.
