A plugin for modern Julia work: package management, scientific computing and numerical code that has to run fast. Useful when a Julia project needs production habits.

## What it does

The plugin covers day-to-day Julia 1.10+ work: packages, scientific computing, numerical code that should not crawl. What you get is production practice, not one-off syntax hints.

Install it from the `wshobson/agents` marketplace with two commands. After that the agent picks up the language context and comments as you edit. It runs on Claude, Codex and Cursor, so the same set follows you across editors.

No Julia 1.10 or newer in the project means no value here — this is about that language and that version. Check your version first, or the advice will not match your environment.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Plugin marketplace**
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin marketplace add wshobson/agents
```
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin install julia-development@claude-code-workflows
```

## When to use it
- lay out Julia packages across a project without fighting environments by hand
- speed up numerical code that takes too long to run
- turn a research script into something you can ship
- sort out package versions and dependencies
- rewrite a Julia prototype so it survives real data

## Example prompts
- help me set up packages in this Julia 1.10 project
- this numerical loop is slow — what can be sped up?
- clean up this research script for production
