## What it does

The plugin reads QuickBooks Online data and summarizes changes across profit and loss, cash flow, the balance sheet and accounts receivable. It can compare a business metric with industry peers and explain shifts in payroll spending. Payroll questions cover employees, pay runs, payslips, deductions and time off.

It can draft an estimate or invoice from a customer email thread, prepare overdue-payment reminders, onboard an employee and change base pay. It asks for confirmation before sending reminders or writing payroll changes. Connect QuickBooks through an Intuit account; Claude Code users also need to sign in with `/login`. Its output is an operational read of QuickBooks data, not tax, legal, investment or lending advice.

## Connecting QuickBooks

The skills use the QuickBooks connector from your Claude account. Connect it at
https://claude.ai/customize/connectors by signing in with your Intuit account and authorizing
access to your QuickBooks company. In Claude Code, sign in with your claude.ai account (`/login`)
so the connector is available in your sessions.

## Notes

- Some skills only read your QuickBooks data; others can send reminders, create draft estimates
  or invoices, or make payroll changes — those skills always confirm with you before writing
  anything.
- Output is an operational read of your QuickBooks data — not tax, legal, investment, or lending
  advice.
