## What it does

This plugin equips GitHub Copilot with tools for building MCP servers in Go. It relies directly on the official `github.com/modelcontextprotocol/go-sdk`.

The package supplies a slash command alongside a dedicated agent. Running `/go-mcp-development:go-mcp-server-generator` creates a complete server repository with dependencies and boilerplate. The `go-mcp-expert` agent handles technical queries about protocol mechanics and idiomatic Go practices.

Because code generation focuses entirely on `github.com/modelcontextprotocol/go-sdk`, alternative community SDKs are out of scope. Installation happens through Copilot CLI.
