# genshijin

## What it does

genshijin is a Claude plugin that switches the model's replies into compressed Japanese. It strips polite forms (です/ます/ございます), openers like ご質問ありがとうございます, hedges and stacked particles. Technical content stays as it was.

Three intensity levels: 丁寧 keeps keigo and removes only filler, 通常 is the default telegraphic style, 極限 pushes to abbreviations and arrows. Switch with `/genshijin 丁寧|通常|極限`, turn it off with 原始人やめて. Destructive operations trigger a safety valve that restores normal Japanese, so confirmations stay readable.

Six sub-skills ship with it: `genshijin-commit` writes Conventional Commits messages, `genshijin-review` gives one line per finding, `genshijin-compress` shrinks memory files such as `CLAUDE.md`. That last one needs Python 3.10+ plus either `pip install anthropic` with `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`, or an existing `claude` CLI login. Compression overwrites the original file and keeps a readable copy in `CLAUDE.original.md`.

## 日本語への最適化ポイント

英語版 caveman は冠詞(a/an/the)やフィラーの削除が中心だが、日本語版は以下に対応:

## 3段階の強度

### 丁寧モード
クッション言葉・ぼかし表現を削除。敬語は維持。ビジネスメール向き。
