## What it does

The plugin fills the gaps Graph API leaves: action inputs and outputs, loop iteration data, child flow failures, who built a flow and which connectors it uses. Five skills cover the whole lifecycle — connect, debug, build, monitor, govern.

The foundation skill `flowstudio-power-automate-mcp` handles auth setup, a reusable MCP helper in Python and Node.js, tool discovery via `list_skills` and `tool_search`, and oversized responses. Load it first. The debug and build skills call the live Power Automate API: they trace a failure across nested child flows, load `create-flow`, discover connector operations, resolve dynamic options and wire connection templates. Monitoring and governance read a cached daily snapshot with aggregated stats — failure rates, run history with remediation hints, maker inventory, flow classification by business impact, orphaned resources, connector audits.

A FlowStudio MCP subscription and an API key are required. The key goes in the `x-api-key` header, not Bearer — with a Bearer scheme requests to `https://mcp.flowstudio.app/mcp` will fail. Configure the connection in `.vscode/mcp.json`.

# FlowStudio Power Automate Plugin

- API key (passed as `x-api-key` header — not Bearer)

## Getting Started

1. Install the plugin
2. Get your API key at [mcp.flowstudio.app](https://mcp.flowstudio.app)
3. Configure the MCP connection in VS Code (`.vscode/mcp.json`):
