## What it does

The plugin bundles coding workflows into an autonomous track. Issuing `/orbit` takes a feature request through spec generation and subagents working under TDD rules. Background skills trigger based on current edits. Touching authentication runs OWASP checks, while expanding a file past 200 lines prompts simplification.

Under the hood, the system packages 25 skills, 6 hooks, and the `harness-mem` MCP server. Once a session ends, the HarnessX engine inspects failures and writes targeted skills to address repeating breakdowns, like recurring TypeScript compilation errors.

Launching a session spins up a local web dashboard at `http://localhost:7700` and opens your browser. If you run other services on this port, set `port = 0` inside `~/.harness/config.toml` to disable the automatic launch.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Plugin marketplace**
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community
```
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin install epic-harness@claude-community
```

## When to use it
- run features end-to-end through the `/orbit` pipeline
- enforce Red-Green-Refactor cycles via automatic TDD subagents
- trigger OWASP security audits when altering authentication logic
- generate custom skills from failed builds and broken tests

## Example prompts
- /orbit "Add JWT auth to the login API"
- /spec "Draft API endpoints for user onboarding"
- /check

A Claude Code plugin that **consolidates 30+ commands into 3 commands + 25 auto-trigger skills**, and **evolves new skills** from your own failure patterns.

### Web Dashboard — auto-launches on session start

10-screen real-time metrics for eval scores, tool stats, orbit pipelines, evolved skills, and hook health. Opens automatically with the first Claude Code session — no manual setup needed. The **Eval & Evolve** screen surfaces the HarnessX evolution-engine state: reward-hacking warnings, seesaw solved-task registry, variant pool, and the adaptation landscape (persistent failures + untried edit types).

# Auto-launches on first session (default: http://localhost:7700)
# Configure port or disable in ~/.harness/config.toml:
[dashboard]
port = 7700       # set to 0 to disable auto-launch
auto_open = true # open browser on first session

## What It Does

One command ships a feature end-to-end. Skills fire without you asking. The agent gets smarter after every session.

```bash
$ /orbit "Add JWT auth to the login API"
````
