## What it does

This plugin connects Claude Code to a remote MCP endpoint at `mcp.dexpaprika.com` covering 36 million pools. The bundle includes twenty MCP tools, four skills, and the `@defi-data-analyst` agent. Together they fetch price candles, check liquidity, and calculate indicators such as RSI or MACD.

Most endpoints run completely free. However, requesting token-wide historical candles via `getTokenOHLCV`, token indicators, or pool swap logs requires your own paid tier. Without a key in `DEXPAPRIKA_API_KEY`, those tools halt with a `DP401_API_KEY_REQUIRED` status. The agent will then fall back to single-pool endpoints.

Take note of DEX naming when querying pools. The API expects an internal identifier like `uniswap_v3` rather than a formatted display name. Supplying a display label returns an empty response without an error. Claude Code must be restarted whenever you add or modify the environment variable.
