## What it does

The plugin gives Claude a real picture of C# code. The agent sees diagnostics and language-server hints for `.cs` files instead of guessing from raw text. That shows up in the edits: fewer invented methods, fewer made-up types.

The plugin itself is a wrapper. The `csharp-ls` language server installs separately, two ways: `dotnet tool install --global csharp-ls`, or `brew install csharp-ls` on macOS. The .NET tool route is the one the docs recommend.

You need .NET SDK 6.0 or later. Without the SDK the server won't start, and the plugin does nothing — check that first.
