## What it does

The plugin ships one skill, `SKILL.md`. It kicks in when you write code against the GitHub Copilot SDK: embedding an agent in an app, defining custom tools, streaming responses, managing sessions, connecting to MCP servers, or building a custom agent. The skill tells the model how the SDK actually works, so generated code lands closer to the real API instead of a guess.

Instructions cover four languages: C#, Go, Node.js/TypeScript and Python. Install is one command through Copilot CLI, with no extra setup. If you already build on the Copilot SDK and keep fixing what the agent wrote, that alone is reason enough to try it.

## Install

### GitHub Copilot (native platform)

**Command from the source**
```bash
copilot plugin install copilot-sdk@awesome-copilot
```

## When to use it
- embed a Copilot SDK agent into an existing app
- define custom tools and wire them into a session
- stream responses instead of waiting for the full answer
- connect an app to an MCP server
- build a custom agent for one task

## Example prompts
- help me embed a GitHub Copilot SDK agent in my Node.js app
- add a custom tool to a Copilot SDK session and call it from the agent
- connect an MCP server to a Copilot SDK agent in Python
