## What it does

This plugin adds Hangul Word Processor (`.hwp` and `.hwpx`) document support to Claude Code. It runs on the `rhwp` WebAssembly engine, eliminating any need for Hancom Office, LibreOffice, or Windows COM automation. Existing files are edited and saved in their native format to keep layouts intact.

The tool extracts text and table cells, modifies paragraph alignments, adjusts margins, and handles font styles. It supports 20 chart varieties, vector shapes, math formulas, headers, and layouts with two or three columns. It can place stamp images onto signature lines or fill form blanks using a local text file without leaking personal data into the chat context.

Document memos are omitted on save, and direct export to PDF or DOCX is not available yet. When updating the plugin, start a fresh Claude Code session so the environment loads the new release.
