## What it does

The plugin bundles a single skill, `skills/connect-chatcut-desktop`, alongside the Codex manifest. It deliberately omits installer binaries and editing commands. Instead, the skill directs Codex to official download links and relies on native host tools.

The desktop application handles all editing. It runs the local `chatcut_desktop` MCP server and syncs tools into Codex. Without the desktop software running, editing tools remain unavailable because that application hosts the server.

The plugin directory lacks a `package.json` file. It remains isolated from the main repository. Deployment requires packing the files into a zip archive through the Skills only update flow.
