## What it does

The plugin configures an MCP server that executes `uvx browser-use@latest --cli-mcp`. The `uv` runner pulls the current build directly from PyPI on first use and resolves version updates at the start of every session. Because the CLI bundles `browser-harness` as an internal dependency, you do not need to install extra browser code into your workspace.

Once connected, Claude Code gains two tools: `browser_exec` and `browser_screenshot`. With `browser_exec`, the agent executes Python snippets to click elements, inspect DOM trees, handle navigation, and dispatch raw CDP commands. The screenshot tool captures the current browser viewport.

The plugin fails immediately if `uv` is not present in your system path. Running local automations requires approving Chrome remote debugging either in the browser popup or via `chrome://inspect/#remote-debugging`. Using Browser Use Cloud is optional and requires passing `BROWSER_USE_API_KEY` or authenticating through `browser-use auth login`.
