## What it does

aws-amplify coordinates AWS Amplify Gen 2 development as a sequence of guided phases. It can create authentication, data models, storage, and functions under `amplify/`, then connect a frontend and deploy to a sandbox or production environment. The workflow runs only the phases relevant to the request.

The package includes the `amplify-workflow` skill, reference instructions for backend, deployment, and frontend integration, plus `prereq-check.sh` for prerequisite validation. Its `aws-mcp` server retrieves AWS documentation and SOP material through `mcp-proxy-for-aws`. You need Node.js >= 18, `npm`, and the `AWS CLI` with configured credentials. AWS actions will fail without those credentials.
