## What it does

The plugin adds 27 tools to Claude Code covering the Apify REST API v2. It lets you trigger and build Actors, monitor run progress, inspect logs, and abort or resurrect active jobs directly from the chat.

Under the hood, it runs an MCP server on Node.js using `@modelcontextprotocol/sdk` and `npx tsx` with no build step required. The tool set handles dataset operations, key-value record storage, webhook management, and cron-based schedule setup.

Without a valid `APIFY_API_TOKEN` environment variable configured during installation, all requests to the Apify API will fail.

## When to use it

# Apify Scraper Plugin

Full Apify web scraping platform integration for Claude. Run Actors, manage datasets, key-value stores, schedules, webhooks, and tasks — all from within Claude.

## Setup

### 1. Get your Apify API Token
1. Go to [Apify Console](https://console.apify.com/) → Settings → Integrations
2. Copy your API token

### 2. Install the Plugin
Install the `.plugin` file in Claude. When prompted, set the environment variable:
