## What it does

The plugin gives Claude Code skills for working with Amplitude data. It can build charts and dashboards from a request, explain trends and anomalies, review account health, assess experiments, and group customer feedback into themes. Daily and weekly briefs cover metric changes, experiment updates, risks, and recommended follow-up.

Its instrumentation workflow starts from a PR, branch, file, or feature request. The plugin checks the codebase for existing tracking wrappers and naming patterns, turns a change brief into event candidates, and produces a line-by-line implementation plan. A tracking-plan audit can also find event and property deletion candidates using source code, ownership, dependencies, and telemetry evidence.

You need Amplitude MCP, Node.js, and an Amplitude account with API access. Without Amplitude MCP, the plugin cannot access the analytics data, so the server connection must be ready before the analysis skills can run.

## When to use it
- build a chart from events, filters, and groupings
- turn a dashboard into meeting talking points
- assess the results of an A/B test
- plan analytics events for a code change
- group customer complaints into actionable themes

## Example prompts
- Create a chart for weekly active users and explain how the metric was built.
- Review my KPI dashboard before the meeting and surface the main risks.
- Analyze our onboarding experiment and recommend whether to ship it.
