Connects Claude Code to an Altertable workspace for running DuckDB SQL, tracking product metrics, and building dashboards. Handy when exploring analytics directly from chat.

## What it does

The plugin bundles Agent Skills with a hosted Altertable MCP server connection. Queries run through DuckDB. The assistant can inspect schemas, run controlled SQL over managed datasets, and review OpenTelemetry logs. It also handles event funnels, scheduled tasks, and persistent dashboards.

The package supplies skill instructions and the hosted MCP link. It does not include `altertable-cli`. If your workflow requires terminal ingestion, local script automation, or CI runs, install the official CLI binary separately.

This repository is the source of truth for [Altertable](https://altertable.ai) [Agent Skills](https://agentskills.io): portable, version-controlled packages of instructions, scripts, and references.

It is also the marketplace Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor install from. Those plugins ship the same skills plus the hosted MCP configuration. Other agents can install the skills alone with `npx skills add`.

## What are Agent Skills?

Agent Skills are an [open standard](https://agentskills.io/specification) for giving AI agents specialized capabilities. Each skill is a self-contained folder with a `SKILL.md` file containing instructions that agents load on demand. Build once, use across any compatible platform.
