# 10x-team

## What it does

Every role ships as its own skill with a slash command: `/cto`, `/product-manager`, `/principal-architect`, `/staff-engineer`, `/senior-engineer`, `/sde`, `/devops-engineer`, `/sre`, `/security-engineer`, `/dba`, `/qa-engineer`, `/engineering-manager`. The orchestrator `/10x-team` runs a project from brainstorming through strategy, design, planning, implementation, testing and deployment, and it blocks each phase transition until the previous one is done.

Roles talk to each other through project state on disk. `/init-project` lays out `.10x/` with `status.md` for the current phase and blockers, `handoff.md` for context, plus `decisions/`, `specs/` and `reviews/`. Inside `decisions/` each role owns a file — `cto.md`, `architect.md`, `sde.md` and the rest. A role reads the decisions it depends on before acting and writes its own after finishing, so `/sde` codes with the CTO's choices already in view.

Install comes from the community marketplace, no separate repository to add. If your project already keeps its own docs tree, `.10x/` will sit beside it — decide which one stays the source of truth.

### How It Works

Every role reads its dependencies before acting and writes its decisions after completing work. The orchestrator (`/10x-team`) enforces this with hard gates at every phase transition.
