## What it does

This remote MCP server bridges coding agents with the Zomato delivery platform. Hosted at `https://mcp-server.zomato.com/mcp`, the endpoint exposes actions to locate restaurants by proximity, inspect detailed food menus, and assemble custom carts. When you place a food order, the agent tracks its fulfillment and issues QR codes for checkout.

Setup requires zero local build steps. The server runs over HTTP, so adding it to Claude Code or Codex takes a single CLI command. For OAuth, the server strictly restricts authentication to a whitelist of redirect URIs. Supported endpoints include VS Code, Claude, and ChatGPT callback addresses.

Public use is restricted. Zomato permits access strictly for personal testing, and building external tools on top of this service is forbidden. You must submit an intake form and receive approval before the OAuth handshake will complete.
