## What it does

Zero Slop detects formulaic AI text patterns using 294 weighted rules alongside a 96-entry lexicon. It catches canned corporate openers, inflated claims of significance, and binary contrasts without altering the core point.

The editorial cycle follows eight distinct stages. The engine evaluates pacing, rewrites repetitive stock phrasing, and passes the output through a dedicated verification step. Links, numbers, code blocks, and names stay protected against hallucinated edits.

Connecting through the remote MCP setup routes your calls to `https://mcp.zero-slop.ai/mcp`. To prevent automatic update checks against the public GitHub Releases API, set the environment flag `ZS_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1`.
