## What it does

ycli gives an agent MCP access to Tracker, Wiki and Forms in Yandex 360. The server can expose all its tools or only those that read data. Its `core` toolset groups about 40 everyday tools, which helps when a client limits how many tools it can load.

Authentication uses `YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN` and `YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID`. The first login requires an OAuth app of your own, and the token must have access to Tracker, Wiki and Forms. In Claude Code, the MCP server can be added with `claude mcp add`, passing the environment variables and running `uvx yandex-cli`; requests will fail if the token lacks the required access. The project also provides a command-line interface and a typed Python SDK.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Environment variables: `YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN`, `YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add ycli -e YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN=<YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN> -e YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID=<YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID> -- uvx yandex-cli
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from yandex-cli <command>

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add yandex-360-ycli --env YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN=<YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN> --env YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID=<YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID> -- uvx yandex-cli
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from yandex-cli <command>

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "yandex-360-ycli": {
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "yandex-cli"
            ],
            "env": {
                "YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN": "<YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN>",
                "YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID": "<YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from yandex-cli <command>

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "yandex-360-ycli": {
            "type": "stdio",
            "command": "uvx",
            "args": [
                "yandex-cli"
            ],
            "env": {
                "YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN": "<YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN>",
                "YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID": "<YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID>"
            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from yandex-cli <command>

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add -e YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN=<YANDEX_ID_OAUTH_TOKEN> -e YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID=<YANDEX_ID_ORGANIZATION_ID> yandex-360-ycli uvx yandex-cli
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from yandex-cli <command>

## When to use it
- Read a Tracker issue by its key
- Fetch the contents of a Wiki page
- Read or change Forms data
- Give an agent read-only access to Yandex 360
- Expose the `core` set of everyday tools

## Example prompts
- Read Tracker issue `TRACKER-1` and summarize its contents.
- Find the Wiki page `onboarding` and show me what it contains.
- Use Yandex 360 in read-only mode and check issue `TRACKER-1`.
