## What it does

The endpoint is `https://mcp.api.xweather.com/mcp`. Nothing runs on your machine — the agent talks to Xweather's server directly, so weather questions get answered without leaving the chat.

The repository holds `server.json`, Xweather's entry in the official MCP Registry. Maintainers bump the version, then run `mcp-publisher validate` and `mcp-publisher publish`; publishing needs DNS-based auth for xweather.com. That side of the project only matters if you are editing the listing.

Every supported client points at the same URL. Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON block, the rest register the server with a single add command.
