# Xtracticle

Turns public X (Twitter) posts, threads and Articles into clean Markdown for AI assistants. Handy when your agent needs to work through a source that lives on Twitter.

## What it does

The server lives at `https://xtracticle.com/mcp` and speaks HTTP, so there is nothing to host on your side. A thread gets reassembled from whichever post you point at, posts keep their line breaks and quotes, and X Articles come through with cover art and embedded posts intact. No login is involved because only public material is read.

Behind it sits the FxTwitter API, wrapped by a Cloudflare Worker and cached at the edge for 5 minutes. That window is your freshness limit, and private accounts or deleted posts simply won't come back. Setup is a single command that registers the URL with your client.

A plain endpoint, `/api/markdown/:id`, does the same conversion if you would rather call it directly. Agents that need the text inline still do better with the MCP server, since nothing has to be assembled by hand.
