## What it does

This connector gives the model nine tools to query Workday HCM endpoints over OAuth 2.0. It retrieves worker profiles, organizational units, office sites, and job assignments. Returned string values are enclosed in untrusted-content wrappers so external text cannot inject instructions into the host session.

Worker lookups rely on client-side scanning capped at 1000 entries because the upstream API lacks deep search filters. Broad queries on large tenants will miss matches. Accessing absence history and job requisitions also demands explicit ISU permissions for the Absence Management and Recruiting domains. When requisition requests fail with 404 responses, the version needs adjusting via `WORKDAY_RECRUITING_API_VERSION`.

Running the package requires Node.js 20 or newer alongside OAuth client credentials. Parameters can be set via shell variables or through the `configure_workday_credentials` tool directly inside the chat.
