Connects your WhatsApp to any MCP client: read, search and optionally send messages through a bearer token, with nothing running locally.

## What it does

wacli.me is a hosted MCP gateway that sits in front of the wacli CLI. You link an account once by scanning a QR code, the same way WhatsApp Web does it, and get back a URL plus a bearer token. From there an MCP client can read and search messages; sending is a separate switch.

The server speaks Streamable HTTP at `/mcp` and expects `Authorization: Bearer …`. Each token in `config/tenants.json` maps to exactly one store directory, so tenants stay isolated from one another. That file is re-read every 5 seconds, which means a new tenant goes live without a restart. The `send_message` tool only appears when `allowSend` is `true`; keep it `false` unless the account owner asked for write access.

Reads call wacli with `--read-only`, so a bad tool call cannot change the store. Skip the sync daemon and the store holds only what the last run pulled. Linking relies on an unofficial WhatsApp client, which breaks WhatsApp's terms of service and can get a number blocked by Meta. Use it on accounts you own.
