## What it does

The MCP server hooks your assistant into Webull OpenAPI across multiple regions, including the US, Hong Kong, and Japan. It supplies real-time ticks, OHLCV bars, market depth, and auction NOII statistics for equities, options, futures, and crypto assets. You can screen stocks by volume or dividend yield, read balance sheets, and inspect analyst price targets.

Beyond data queries, the tool manages trading actions directly from the assistant. It handles order entry, cancellation, and position tracking. US accounts support multi-leg option strategies, conditional OCO orders, and algorithmic execution like TWAP or VWAP. Built-in symbol whitelisting and notional thresholds enforce risk boundaries before orders go out.

Running the server requires Python 3.10+, the `uv` tool, developer credentials (`App Key` and `App Secret`), and an active quote subscription. Without a paid market data package from Webull, endpoints returning book depth and snapshots fail to respond.
