## What it does

This tool connects AI coding assistants to the WebCake platform. It exposes a catalog of 40+ element types, covering forms, countdowns, and product displays. The model learns the canvas coordinate system and builds exact page structures without guessing JSON fields.

Before any page reaches your account, `validate_page` scans for off-canvas blocks, duplicate identifiers, and unlinked buttons. If you already have a layout elsewhere, `ingest_html` and `ingest_url` convert that markup into a structural baseline for the AI.

Without setting `WEBCAKE_JWT`, saving pages directly to an account is impossible: unauthenticated sessions only support schema lookups and page validation. Running the server locally through `npx` requires Node.js 18+.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

- Environment variables: `WEBCAKE_JWT`, `WEBCAKE_ENV`, `WEBCAKE_API_BASE`, `WEBCAKE_ORG_ID`, `PEXELS_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## When to use it
