## What it does

This server connects your assistant to the Keenable web index for live online queries. It exposes two functions: `search_web_pages` filters results by site or date, while `fetch_page_content` extracts clean Markdown up to a default limit of 50000 characters.

Setup does not require hosting search infrastructure. Most clients connect directly to the hosted streamable HTTP endpoint. For editors limited to stdio processes, the `@keenable/mcp` bridge package routes requests to the cloud service.

Usage is keyless out of the box with a quota of 1,000 requests per hour. If your project exceeds that ceiling, you must supply an optional token via `KEENABLE_API_KEY`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://api.keenable.ai/mcp?keenable_title=mcp-registry`
- Environment variables: `KEENABLE_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
