## What it does

wc26 is a TypeScript MCP server that talks to your agent over stdio. It exposes 18 tools, among them `get_matches`, `get_team_profile`, `get_venues`, `get_city_guide`, `get_fan_zones`, `get_visa_info`, `get_news`, `get_injuries`, `get_odds`, `get_standings` and `get_bracket`. Most accept filters such as date, team, group, venue or timezone.

The dataset travels with the package: 104 matches, 48 nations, 16 stadiums across the USA, Mexico and Canada, 16 city guides, 18 fan zones, 34 historical head-to-head records. The tournament runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Nothing external is called, so setup is a single command.

It runs through `npx`, which means Node.js and npm have to be on `PATH`. No npx in the agent's environment and the server never starts — check that first.
