## What it does

The server operates as an external gateway connecting AI assistants to workplace tools such as Notion, Monday, Asana, Linear, Jira, Slack, Teams, Google Drive, Office 365, Airtable, Miro, Intercom, and PayPal. The creators deprecated the earlier local package. Now the service runs as a hosted endpoint at `https://waystation.ai/mcp`, using streamable HTTPS and SSE transports.

Linking external accounts happens in the web dashboard at `https://waystation.ai/dashboard` via standard OAuth2 authorization. Registered users can also copy a personal endpoint URL like `https://waystation.ai/mcp/<user_unique_id>` to avoid repeated credential checks. Without connecting your services inside the web panel first, the agent cannot access any of your workspace data.

## When to use it
- sync tasks between Linear, Asana, and Jira from conversational prompts
- query spreadsheets in Google Sheets and Airtable without manual exports
- push summary notes directly to Slack channels or Microsoft Teams
- retrieve project specifications stored inside Notion pages or Google Docs
