## What it does

wawesome connects an agent to Apps and Functions on the wawesome platform. It can deploy code with static files, invoke a handler, fetch a live page, inspect invocation logs, diagnose the latest failure, roll back a Version, and set environment variables.

The MCP endpoint is `https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp`. On the first tool call, a browser opens for sign-in with GitHub or Google and permission selection. Choose “Ship and read back” to deploy and roll back. Custom domains are handled through the dashboard or CLI, not through the MCP permissions.

The platform does not build projects. A Function is a JavaScript module with a `fetch` handler; projects that need a framework build use `npx wawesome deploy` to build locally and upload the output. The CLI requires Node 22.13 or newer. The server also supports Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add wawesome --url https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "wawesome": {
            "url": "https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "wawesome": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http wawesome https://api.wawesome.io/v1/mcp
```

## When to use it
- deploy a JavaScript Function with its static files
- check which Function Version is live
- inspect invocation logs to find a failure
- roll a Function back to an earlier Version
- set an App's environment variables

## Example prompts
- Deploy this project to wawesome and fetch the live page to check it.
- Find the latest Function failure and explain what the invocation logs show.
- Check the running Version, then roll it back to the previous one.
