## What it does

With `vynly-mcp`, an agent can publish images or video, browse public feeds, find users and posts, and interact with creators. It can also change a caption or remove a post owned by the connected account. Image provenance checks work without a token.

Publishing uses `VYNLY_TOKEN`. Set it to a Vynly token, or use `DEMO` to claim a demo token for 10 writes. Video is submitted as a public URL, must be no longer than 60 seconds, and requires `declaredSource`. That source field is a hard requirement for video posts.

For Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add`; the command runs `@vynly/mcp` through `npx`. The marketplace setup also provides a short skill that guides tool selection. Local image uploads accept PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF files up to 10 MB.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `VYNLY_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
