## What it does

Voicely runs on macOS 14+ with Apple Silicon and processes speech on the device using Parakeet V3 with CoreML. It handles live dictation, recorded calls, and audio or video files. Call transcripts can include separate speaker turns.

Its local MCP server exposes `transcribe_file`, `list_transcripts`, `get_transcript`, and `get_last_call`. Use `voicely connect` to register the server with installed agent clients, or run `voicely transcribe <file>` from a terminal. Processing stays offline, with no account or subscription involved.

The platform requirement is macOS 14 or newer on Apple Silicon. First launch also needs Microphone and Accessibility permissions; recording calls requires Screen Recording.
