## What it does

The package locates `videorecompress.exe` on a Windows PC and starts the app’s MCP service over stdio. An agent can compress a video or run a folder batch, inspect file details, and estimate storage savings. It can also retrieve available presets, formats, and licence status.

When the desktop app is missing, the server exposes `get_started` with installation guidance. VideoRecompress Studio must be installed on Windows; it processes local files and sends anonymous usage telemetry, which can be disabled in settings. The trial processes the first 10 files per PC without restrictions; later files get a watermark and a 10-minute cap. Each file in a batch uses one trial slot.
