## What it does

VerifyDesk runs as an external HTTP endpoint at `https://verifydesk.agenttoolworks.com/mcp`. There is no local service to host. Once connected, your agent receives tools such as `verify_company` and `enrich_company` for the French registry, `verify_vat` via VIES, and `validate_iban`.

The `screen_sanctions` tool queries OFAC and UN databases for due diligence screening. This check offers an initial risk indicator rather than a final legal assessment. Operations consume prepaid credits: 0.2 credits for IBAN or VAT validation and 1 credit for company lookups. Failed server calls carry no charge.
