## What it does

This server connects your development workspace to the VeloCMS REST API. Every tool translates into a direct API endpoint request, verified with Zod schemas to catch invalid arguments before transmission. The assistant can list articles, fetch full entries, submit drafts, alter metadata, publish posts, or handle deletions. Beyond articles, it exposes actions to inspect media assets by MIME type, change comment approval states, and read public site properties.

API access mandates a VeloCMS Pro subscription or higher. Free accounts lack API permission, meaning any tool invocation fails immediately with an HTTP 403 status. Your generated API token must also hold appropriate scopes such as `posts:write` or `comments:moderate`.

The runtime operates over standard stdio using `npx`. If either `VELOCMS_SITE_URL` or `VELOCMS_API_KEY` is omitted from the environment variables, the program logs an error and exits immediately with code 1.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `VELOCMS_SITE_URL`, `VELOCMS_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
