# Vascue Public Knowledge Search

## What it does

The tool provides a single read-only `search` action. It explores public documentation covering clinic operations, insurance workflows, and Cliniko connections. Instead of generating ungrounded answers, the system returns matching text chunks with exact URLs on vascue.io. Queries rely on combined keyword and vector retrieval without backend rewriting.

Clients can connect to the hosted streamable endpoint at `https://www.vascue.io/mcp/search` directly. It requires no API token. Alternatively, `python server.py` runs a local BM25 engine against pre-rendered files without network access. The hosted service limits traffic to 60 calls per minute per client. Never send sensitive medical records or patient details here, as the index contains only public website material.
