## What it does

UniFi MCP connects Claude Code and other MCP-capable agents to the UniFi Network API. It exposes API operations, checks for configuration drift, maps network topology, and predicts the impact of network rules. The project is community-built and is not affiliated with Ubiquiti.

In Claude Code, add the `Servosity/msp-skills` marketplace and install `unifi-network`. The package includes `unifi-network-cli`, `unifi-network-mcp`, and `SKILL.md`; the CLI also provides an installation check. Use the default `stdio` transport. HTTP mode in this build has no password and can accept requests from outside the local process, so it must not be started.

## Requirements
- Environment variables: `PRINTING_PRESS_CLIENT_PROFILE`, `UNIFI_API_KEY`, `UNIFI_BASE_PATH`, `UNIFI_BASE_URL`, `UNIFI_GATEWAY_HOST` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
