## What it does

uimax-mcp takes a URL for a running application and builds a frontend review. It captures a Puppeteer screenshot, runs Lighthouse and axe-core, records Core Web Vitals, checks SEO signals, and inspects source code with AST analysis. The result covers Accessibility, Performance, Best Practices, SEO, and Code Quality grades.

Its tools also cover responsive screenshots, dark-mode checks, pixel comparisons, security checks, unused code, and standalone HTML reports. Claude Code receives the review method and can edit project files, while review history is stored in `.uimax-reviews.json`.

The app must be reachable from your machine, whether it runs on localhost, staging, or production. Without an accessible URL, the server cannot capture the page or run its audits. No API key is required.

## When to use it
- review a running web interface
- find WCAG 2.1 accessibility violations
- measure Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse scores
- scan source code for frontend anti-patterns
- compare the UI before and after fixes

## Example prompts
- Review the app at `http://localhost:3000` and use `./src` as its source directory.
- Capture responsive screenshots, then check the page for accessibility and SEO issues.
- Run the audit again after the fixes and compare it with the previous review.
