# Türk Hukuku Mevzuat

This MCP server lets AI clients search Turkish laws and retrieve current article text from the official source. Use it when a legal reference needs checking.

## What it does

Türk Hukuku Mevzuat connects an AI client to current official Turkish law texts. Its tools cover law and content search, lookup by article number, full-text retrieval, and an index of known laws. A law can be addressed by abbreviation, number, or full identifier, while search results provide an ID that can feed the article lookup.

The server downloads PDFs from `mevzuat.gov.tr`, extracts their text with `pypdf`, and keeps fetched laws in memory for the active session. It sends one request at a time and waits at least one second between requests. The scope is limited to laws, so regulations, notices, and case law are outside what this server can search or retrieve.

## When to use it
- search Turkish laws by title or phrase
- retrieve the current wording of an article
- load a law as a complete text
- check a cited provision against `mevzuat.gov.tr`

## Example prompts
- Use `mevzuat_ara` to find laws whose full text contains “kişisel veri”.
