# Türk Hukuku İçtihat

This MCP server searches Turkish court decisions in official sources and returns structured citations with document links. Use it for case-law research.

## What it does

The server exposes two tools. `ictihat_ara` searches decisions by terms and court scope, while `karar_getir` retrieves the complete text for a selected result. Responses include court details, case numbers, dates, an identifier, a citation, and a link to the public record. Sources cover Yargıtay, UYAP Emsal, Danıştay, and AYM, including separate constitutional-review searches.

It runs locally through `uvx` and turns retrieved material into readable plain text. The project states that it collects no data or telemetry. If an official site asks for a captcha or returns HTTP 403 or HTTP 429, the server stops instead of retrying, so source-site access can block a lookup. The tool supports legal research, but the decision’s current status and legal effect still require review.
