## What it does

This server exposes your TrueProxies account to the assistant: available plans with prices, your services, traffic spent and left, current download and upload speed, usage history across 24h, 7d or 30d windows, and invoices. It also builds proxy connection lines and can test a connection with a single request.

Every tool is read-only except `check_connection`. Buying, paying, rotating your proxy password or editing trusted IPs is out of scope. The connection check burns a bit of traffic and activates an unused free trial, so think twice if you were saving that trial.

You create the API key in the TrueProxies dashboard. Read-only use needs `services:read` and `billing:read`. Add `proxy:read` only when the assistant should generate endpoints, run connection checks or list trusted IPs, because endpoint lines carry your proxy password. The hosted endpoint sits behind Cloudflare, which decrypts traffic in transit, so your key and any endpoints pass through it. Run the server locally with Docker or Go if that matters to you.

## Requirements
- Needs: Docker
- Remote server: `https://mcp.trueproxies.com/mcp`

## Install

claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.trueproxies.com/mcp
```
### Codex
**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add trueproxies --url https://mcp.trueproxies.com/mcp
```
### Cursor
**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "trueproxies": {
            "url": "https://mcp.trueproxies.com/mcp"
        }

        }
    }
}
```
### Gemini CLI
**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http trueproxies https://mcp.trueproxies.com/mcp
```
## When to use it
- check remaining traffic on a service
- compare plans and prices before buying
- pull a list of invoices
- verify that a proxy actually responds
- build a connection line with username and password
## Example prompts
- List my TrueProxies services and the traffic left on each
- Generate endpoints for my service and run a connection check
- What plans and prices does TrueProxies offer?
