# Transloadit Media Processing

Connect an agent to Transloadit Robots to process video, audio, images, and documents. The hosted endpoint uses OAuth sign-in.

## What it does

The server gives an agent access to media processing through Transloadit Robots. To use the hosted endpoint, connect by URL; the MCP client opens a consent page in the Transloadit Console during OAuth sign-in. An account is required before hosted tools run.

You can run the server yourself over `stdio` or HTTP. Self-hosting requires `TRANSLOADIT_KEY` and `TRANSLOADIT_SECRET`. For HTTP bound to a non-localhost address, set `TRANSLOADIT_MCP_TOKEN` or `TRANSLOADIT_MCP_RESOURCE_METADATA_URL`; a signing algorithm mismatch causes `mcp_invalid_signature`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://api2.transloadit.com/mcp`
- Environment variables: `TRANSLOADIT_KEY`, `TRANSLOADIT_SECRET` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
