## What it does

The endpoint is `https://mcp.transcriptmagic.com/mcp` over Streamable HTTP, with an SSE fallback at `https://mcp.transcriptmagic.com/sse` for older clients. Each platform gets its own tool: `transcribe_youtube`, `transcribe_tiktok`, `transcribe_instagram`, `transcribe_facebook`, `transcribe_linkedin`, `transcribe_rumble`, `transcribe_twitter`, `transcribe_twitch`, `transcribe_kick`, `transcribe_podcast`. Three more tools — `get_podcast_status`, `get_credit_balance`, `list_recent_transcripts` — cost nothing to call.

Sign-in runs through OAuth 2.0 with Google, so the first tool call pops a browser window. Credits live on your TranscriptMagic account: one credit per video or clip transcript, while podcasts on Plus and Pro burn 10 credits per audio-hour. Fresh accounts start with free credits, and you top up from the dashboard.

Only public videos work. Private, age-restricted or login-walled links will fail. Twitch and Kick are clip-only — no VODs, no live streams. Transcripts land in your account history and you can delete them from the dashboard whenever you want.
