## What it does

tibiawiki-mcp gives an AI assistant tools for looking up structured TibiaWiki information. It can filter creatures and items by attributes, check where an item comes from, find NPCs that buy loot, and look up spells, quests, houses or travel routes. One tool also parses loot messages into item counts and values.

The local server reads a SQLite snapshot. Once the package and index have been downloaded, it can run offline; local setup requires Node 22.13 or later. The index represents a snapshot, and answers include its generation time. You can also install the data package separately and open the database read-only with SQLite.

Claude Code can connect to the hosted server or run a local instance with `npx`. The hosted option needs no key; the local one needs Node 22.13+. The data is licensed CC BY-SA, so credit TibiaWiki when distributing it.

## When to use it
- filter creatures by combat stats or behaviour
- find where an item drops or which NPC sells it
- compare NPC buy prices for loot across cities
- parse a loot message and calculate item values
