## What it does

The App Stores Cooolest API exposes App Store Connect work through an MCP server. An agent can inspect apps, versions, builds, pre-release versions, review submissions, bundle IDs, localizations, and screenshots. It also covers territory pricing, certificates, provisioning profiles, local RSA keys, CSRs, and sales data delivered as compressed TSV.

The Rust project is split into eight crates. A shared core handles JWT authentication, HTTP requests, JSON:API envelopes, and errors, while domain crates add metadata, pricing, signing, and reporting operations. The MCP side communicates over stdio, and the CLI shares operations with it. Connection requires an App Store Connect API key, issuer ID, and private-key path through `ASC_API_KEY`, `ASC_ISSUER_ID`, and `ASC_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH`. Calls to App Store Connect fail without those credentials.

## Requirements
- Needs: a prebuilt binary from the repository releases
- Environment variables: `ASC_API_KEY`, `ASC_ISSUER_ID`, `ASC_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
