# Tereno on Base

## What it does

The server equips coding agents with verification tools for the Base network. Running `contract_guard` or `transaction_intent_guard` simulates gas usage, reports allowance changes, and detects unverified proxy updates. Every paid response pins the exact block height where evidence expires.

Querying capabilities via `tereno_catalog` and inspecting rates with `tereno_price` requires no wallet. When another agent has recently settled the same deterministic query, Tereno applies a lower reuse price instead of computing from scratch.

Paying directly through stdio fails because stdio transport cannot return payment headers. For automated paid settling, connect your client to the hosted HTTP endpoint at `https://www.tereno.xyz/api/mcp`.
