## What it does

taste-bank exposes visual styles as structured packs containing metadata, design tokens, `SKILL.md` guidance, scoped CSS, and template snapshots. An agent can browse the catalog, retrieve a complete pack, then place a selected style into the project with the CLI commands `list`, `skill`, and `use`.

The recommended setup is `npx taste-bank setup`. It installs the CLI and injects a skill that teaches coding agents how to use it. MCP clients can connect to `https://tastebank.cloud/mcp` and send an invite code in the `x-invite-code` header. That code is required for the MCP configuration shown here.

Packs are checked against a Zod schema and kept in a local cache. `taste-bank doctor` checks the CLI, network, identity, skill injection, and cache; submitting styles also requires an invite code and a private key.

- choose a visual direction for a landing page
- fetch tokens and CSS for a selected style
- place a style into a project as a rules file
- keep preferred styles available for later work

## Example prompts
- Find a taste-bank style for this product landing page and apply it to the current project.
- Run `taste-bank list`, pick a suitable style, and fetch its complete pack.
- Use `taste-bank use <slug>` to add the selected style to this project and follow its tokens.
